App Store Rejection Criteria

Many iPhone developers all over the world are trying to get their app listed at the App store. Apple do have a high-level selection/rejection criteria for all their developers.

Here is some of clubbed observations for Apple’s criteria to reject the developed applications:
> If the application makes contains some unusual sounds, which may hinder some other brand
> Copying of any other existing iPhone application
> Specification about network connection in the User Manual itself
> Use of Apple’s graphics in your own app
> Use of some private and prohibited APIs
> Naming convention – usage of appropriate version numbers
> Using same icons for ‘lite’ and ‘pro’ versions of a single app
> Improper handling of editing in tableview cells
> It is not permitted to use continuous vibrations in your apps

All the iPhone developers, kindly note these are not any listed criteria at App store. Instead, these are a set of observations, which is coming from our experience dealing with iOS projects.
