J2ME Data Management: Decomposing Attributes

Database creation and data management servcices has always been a matter of concern for all the Java programmers. The process of decomposition of attributes begins by analyzing list of all the entities in the database along with their attributes. Once the attributes of entities are identified, they must be reduced to the data elements. This process in Java/Oracle development is called as database decomposition.

Here is the stepwise guide for all the J2ME developers around:
> Look at each attribute of the field, and check whether its atomic
       > It it is not, it has to be further decomposed
       > If it is, no further decomposition is required
> Place the name of the attribute on the data list
> Review the data list developed in step 2, and repeat the decomposition process until all the attributes are atomic
